The Role:
Please note that this position is on Single Resident Status.

The purpose of the Engineering Department comprises the following key aspects:
* Provide and support technical assurance to the company that design, construction, commissioning and adequate maintenance is carried out according to appropriate technical standards, including RoK mandatory standards
* Provide support to strategies and content of Engineering & Maintenance processes related to Onshore & Offshore Assets
* In collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Production Projects drive Venture performance in asset integrity, reliability, costs, and product quality by providing high value credible engineering services.
* Establish and sustain a structured and proactive approach to transfer knowledge from expatriate staff to national staff
In addition the following are accountabilities of the Engineering Department:
* Assures design / technical integrity of Production installations throughout their life cycle, including coordination and responsibility for the delivery of Technical Authority roles in the relevant Engineering disciplines
* Provide Engineering support to Production Operations; including input into and support of commissioning / start-up of new or modified plant and troubleshooting of existing plant.
* Ensures appropriate Engineering discipline controls for projects and plant changes throughout the Opportunity Realization Process phases (Identify, Assess, Select, Define, Execute)
* Sets and maintains Engineering standards, work processes, systems and tools for POD
* Ensure an effective Discipline skill pool, identifying learning and development opportunities for local staff
* Maintains strong connections to shareholder Engineering Best Practice Networks

The Lead Instrumentation Engineer provides leadership and expertise on all aspects of Instrumentation Engineering within the company.

Job Accountabilities:
* Assures technical integrity of Company installations throughout their life cycle. This includes responsibilities for the Technical Authority 2 (TA2) role for the PACO Instrumentation sub-discipline in the following areas of expertise:
o Flow metering, quality measuring instruments (QMI) and control valves
o IPF Peer Review
* TA2 responsibilities include:
o Ensures all deliverables produced by/for their disciplines as defined in the respective Controls and Assurance Plans (PCAP or ACAL) comply with the approved Codes & Standards.
o Reviews and approves business critical deliverables requiring TA-2 authorization appropriate to their discipline (e.g. those with significant multi-discipline content).
o Accepts business critical deliverables developed by the contractor on behalf of company (after having assured compliance).
o Participates in technical verification exercises of contractor deliverables.
o As appropriate, recommends and justifies deviations from the approved Codes & Standards to the TA-1.
o Participates in contract tender evaluations to review contractor technical qualifications (experience, personnel, equipment, etc) for executing scope of work
o Reviews and assesses competency of contractor's personnel within their Discipline.
o In coordination with TA-1, authorizes the design tools selected for use by company.
o Manages competencies across company organization within their Discipline
o Review and Acknowledge/Reject FSR Deviations.
o Review, Comment and Approve SAP BP Z6s

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Good knowledge of International engineering standards, best practices, and systems
* Skill in use of SAP Blueprint PM, M&I Measures dashboard and SAP BW reporting for process plant maintenance
* Knowledge of SAP MM and Requisition to Pay (RtP) processes
* Aware of & familiar with issues surrounding high pressure and high H2S facilities
* Must be a self-starter, highly motivated technical leader with a proven track record
* Capable of managing small teams to achieve a well-defined goal
* Can work with limited direction and can contribute through others
* Ability to quickly establish relationships to ensure discipline engineering processes and standards are consistently applied
* Demonstrable interpersonal & communication skills

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor in Engineering degree and 8-12 years relevant engineering, maintenance and/or operations experience
* Significant field experience gathered from any of the following are required:
o PACO vendor
