The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a QC Coordinator for a contract position within Kazakhstan. This is for a topside project

Accommodation/Flights: Provided

Maintain and develop as necessary, QC procedures required for QC inspection, acceptance, release and nonconformance situations.
- Maintain and develop as necessary QC Inspection Handbook for use by field Inspectors and Co-ordinate use and implementation of Inspection Handbook by field Inspectors.
- Establish availability of inspection resources of requisite technical expertise from approved inspection contractors to suit ECMT regional requirements.
- As may be required, review capabilities current QC Service Providers to fulfil project requirements, and identify and review capabilities of other competent service providers who may be added to the approved list.
- Maintain and develop as necessary QC files, records, system in IMIS to record QC Inspection performed at company direct suppliers and Execution contractor's suppliers.
- Assist site teams and ECMTs as required in the selection of QC resources to meet project needs.
- Support site teams and ECMT QA/QC Engineers to develop or review QC Plans / Inspection & Test Plans.
- Manage and administer QC Coordination activities to meet project needs, Including:-
- Review, comment and approve Supplier documentation related to QC Discipline ie QC Plans and Manufacturing & Test Records.
- Selection of QC Inspector, raise and issue QC Inspection assignments.
- Participate in or chair project meetings relating to QC ie Kick Off Meetings, PIMs etc
- Receive, review, action & file QC Inspection Reports.
- Co-ordinate raising and closure of QC NCRs, including input into project Electronic system (SMARTrack).
- Undertake or participate in any required investigations or troubleshooting events related to QC.
- Co-ordinate and control the issue of Inspection Release Notes (IRNs) and subsequent review of Supplier Manufacturing Record Books.
- Monitor performance of service providers and individual QC Inspectors assigned to the project and take appropriate action to ensure performance is provided to acceptable standards.
- Provide progress and summary reports i.e. weekly, monthly or as required to management on QC related matters and advise on any critical issues arising relating to QC.
- Liaise with Project Independent Verification Body (IVB) as required and respond to QC related queries.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Education to HNC level in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- 6-8 years' experience in a QA/QC role in the Oil and Gas Industry;
- Experience in senior role ;
- Experience in operating electronic QC Monitoring systems.
