The Company:
Our client offers a comprehensive range of services to firms and organisations working in the oil field, petrochemical and industrial sectors in KSA and beyond. Their current services include but are not limited to engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance. They have recently been selected as engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contractor for Saudi Aramco's strategic pipeline projects related to the Master Gas Program and the Fadhili Gas Program

The Role:
Working as part of our client's Project Services & Controls function, you will join the Pipelines team construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*Implement and provide cost control services in line within company guidelines
*Knowledge transfer within clients cost team and cost control function
*Provide input to annual budget preparation
*Ensure all activities conducted are consistent with clients safety culture
*Provide timely and accurate cost control information including detailed analysis of budget, commitments, expenditure,forecasting and change control cost information to relevant managers
*Produce required reports and provide insights which highlight projected status and variances
*Provide cost control focus of package management, contracts and procurement
*Provide information to support Assurance Reviews and Audits
*Prepare and collate information to support and budget revisions. Maintain and budget history records in cost system
*Manage project change control process
*Prepare monthly accruals for delivery to Finance
*Review cost coding of commitments and expenditure to ensure correct cost allocation, budgetary compliance and reporting
*Reconcile on a monthly basis all project records
*Support Lead Cost Controller and wider team as required
*Prepare ad-hoc reports as appropriate required by the Function and relevant projects
*Actively contribute to on going process and productivity improvements within Functional Cost Control groups

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Prior Experience with Aramco projects is a must
*Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Project/Construction Management or Engineering preferred
*Significant experience in cost control across a number of Offshore and Onshore major CAPEX projects in the oil and gas industry in the development and execute phases
*Demonstrate advanced skills in use of software tools applicable to cost management activities
*Experience in the preparation, use and updating of cost guidelines

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Exp. with pipeline projects is plus
