The Role:
I am recruiting for a Safety Manager to join the Rail system at a fantastic time, as the capacity is set to treble due to increased rail network serving Heathrow, itself a key commitment of the sustainability strategy

Very much a head of post, this would suit a an individual looking to take on more responsibilities and so progressing their career and moving further her into strategy development and policy making. As the 'go to' individual it is essential you able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of rail safety standards and systems, both operational and from an engineering perspective combined with an effective ability to build industry sector relationship from government through to industry peers.

It would help if you have work within a highly regulated industry, preferably involving rail critical work together with qualifications that could include;

NEBOSH Fire Safety Management Certificate.
NEBOSH diploma in Occupational safety and health (hold or working towards).
Trained in SMIS and has understanding and experience of safety auditing.
