The Role:
Operations Co-ordinator - Industrial Waste Management - Bournemouth - Salary, 37.5 hours per week, varied role, good exposure, internal promotions, bonus, holidays and more

An international leader in waste recycling solutions who manages millions of tones in waster annually are looking for someone to join their operations team as a key nuclear site near to Weymouth. With over 85 sites across Europe, USA this business are truly global innovator in waste management for healthcare, chemical and nuclear industries.

The role

This position will have a primary focus on data management, data manipulation and data formatting to ensure all operational departments are being ran affectively for waste management - additionally to this you will be involved greatly in auditing, compliance, health and safety and all other operational areas for each technical department, including logistics, supply chain and HSE.

What will you be doing?

* Support the Senior Technical Support & Transport Specialist in re-allocating waste by assisting with determining cost breakdown for waste disposal
* Supporting the Senior Technical Support / Transport Specialist and other PMs in data verification tasks.
* Ensuring all waste at the site comply with statutory regulations, Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR), ADR etc
* Assist the Compliance team to provide technical advice / reports to members of all other departments
* Preparing paperwork to send for radioactive waste processing and disposal sites

What we need from you

* Degree in any science field - sufficient experience in data management within an engineering environment will also be accepted
* Strong IT skills (particularly in Excel and Access)
* Aptitude for numbers and have significant attention to detail
* Ability to understand technical aspects of radioactive waste handling, processing, disposal, and legislation - a science's education will help here.
