The Role:
Business Need / Purpose of Role:
Deliver management information that is accurate, timely and reliable to the Finance Controller and Management team, Regional team and Group Finance. Ensure effective financial business controls are in place and ensuring balance sheet integrity at all times. Clearly present the financial state of the business and the financial impact of management decisions and indecision.

Objectives & Measurement
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
* Ensure that periodic management accounts are prepared, analysed and interpreted to the highest standards in order to provide meaningful, relevant and actionable information. Ensure balance sheet integrity at all times.
* Continually review financial and administrative activities and recommend changes as required to ensure the completeness of management information, prompt and accurate cost collection and job allocation and predetermined document processing service levels are achieved.
* Writing draft narrative for monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
* Review, challenge and approve new orders and contracts for profitability and risk in line with approval matrix. Critically review and challenge operational results to ensure completeness and accuracy of all information in line with company accounting and reporting policies.
* Develop and maintain awareness of company contract management and accounting policies and procedures to ensure that cost management processes are robust.
* Encourages a strong culture of disciplined third party operating cashflow and working capital management throughout the organisation through implementing and maintaining procedures and regular reviews
* Works with procurement, commercial and contract teams to maximise cost savings on direct and indirect expenditure including supplier discounts.
* Advise and support the Finance Controller and other senior management and staff with implementing, controlling and documenting procedures, systems and disciplines for the administrative operation of all business activities.
* To work with Operations and Sales Teams to develop detailed bottom-up annual budget and forecasting processes and monthly queries
* Perform major contract, aged debt and WIP reviews across the business with relevant staff per current procedures to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
* Undertake petty cash audit, fixed asset audits, inventory counts impairment review of assets and others as required.
* Develop, maintain awareness and adhere to Company's accounting policies and procedures.
* Comply with Company Code of Conduct rules and as a key management team member be familiar with its content to support any employee questions.
* Undertake other tasks as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: Must be qualified Chartered Accountant CA/CPA or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of experience with three years in managerial role. Experience with global organization with matrix reporting structure required.

Product Knowledge: Prior experience in an O&G services business preferable

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills: Standard Microsoft Office package with particular focus on excel. Previous experience with ERP accounting packages.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability
