The Role:
This role is responsible for providing an efficient training coordination service in a highly legislated and regulated environment that includes the planning, organising, delivery and evaluation of training activities linked to competence in the job role, requiring close liaison with site technical experts
Rigorous management and control regimes are established for training and competence of personnel to comply with company corporate governance

Accountabilities 
-Accountable for coordination of all training bookings and issuing of the relevant joining instructions
-Actively contribute to key training and competence strategies including training and competence frameworks
-Co-ordination of database and record keeping - data input, administration and integrity maintenance of all CMS/LMS systems
-Accountable for the preparation and issue of the training matrices, expiry reports, and general training and competence reports
-Accountable for monitoring no shows and cancellations considering any financial implications

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Competencies 
-Accomplished in office and database platforms
-Highly organised, problem-solving, self-directing individual, used to managing ever changing priorities in a demanding working environment
-Individual must be professional with a can-do attitude, positive, highly engaging and proactive
-Ability to manage many differing tasks
-Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor communications to the audience

Education 
-Minimum completion of higher education with a preference for further education certification

Work Experience 
-Proven experience in previous training and competence coordination
-Experienced with training and competence systems within the upstream oil and gas industry
-Knowledge of safety case requirements, UK regulatory requirements and competence assurance management standards

Certifications 
-A nationally recognised qualification in training is desirable, though broad experience in administration within a training en
