The Role:
1. All duties are to be carried out at all times in compliance with all Huntsman Corporate and Huntsman EHS, business conduct policies and guidelines.
2. Accountable with Huntsman compliance to statutory Regulations, Group Engineering Procedure and Huntsman policies.
3. Accountable with the maintenance policy and strategy that the company assets are maintained within approved budgets.
4. To ensure Industrial Relations and Personnel issues are involved in a fair equitable fashion to maintain a harmonious and productive workforce.
5. To recruit, develop and nominate staff and to review the organisational arrangements to ensure the engineering and company objectives are achieved.
6. To ensure the organising engineering working capital without creating risk to production continuity.
7. To check, review and endorse the annual maintenance budget for Huntsman for each year.
8. To analyses lost accounting records, high reactive areas, and failure data to develop and implement action plans to eliminate the losses.
9. Asset care and preservation
10. Knowledge transfer and career mapping for the engineering team.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Minimum Degree in the Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent level or Mechanical discipline qualification
-At least 15 years working experience in manufacturing plant with 5 years in senior managerial position and 4 years' experience in an operating TiO2 plant.
