The Role:
Position Summary
The job holder will be responsible for the pre-planning, resource forecasting, costing, reviewing and execution of the project, may be involved in other technical activities relating to the project.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Carry out project planning for Subsea Projects
* Monitor progress of projects, identify and address problem area, liaise with charge hands for timely completion of projects
* Review inspection reports and repair workscope
* Create Part Number, Work Order
* Create Bill of Materials
* Coordinate with vendor/materials co-ordinator on status of materials / services ordered
* Liaise with vendors / sub-contractors for obtaining quotes and job execution
* Reverse engineer parts where required
* Draft Autocad drawings for Engineering requirements and sketches for inspection reports and weld maps
* Assist in creating inspection report formats where required
* Create Purchase Requisition in absence of Assistant Project Engineer
* Coordinate with production to ensure the quality and delivery schedules are met
* Assist in preparation and updating project schedules
* Assist in sourcing for competitive prices of materials and services
* Liaise with design house on design related matters for the project
* Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure the products being manufactured to meet quality and delivery requirements
* Liaise with customers on design related issues and free issue parts
* Prepare Production Route Sheet to ensure that various hold and witness points are being observed
* Prepare costing sheet for additional work scope
* Ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Management System

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
* 2 years experience in working with subsea equipment and be familiar with equipment
* 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment and be familiar with processes such as machining, welding and assembly & testing
