The Role:
This will be a contract role for 1 year duration. Based Offshore (Miri)

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure management of HSSE compliance as per Company HSSE Plan, safety rules, policies, procedures, Operating Integrity (OI) and standards, exercising and promoting the use of accident control technique, implementing incident investigation procedures and managing Contractor's crew safety performance onsite.
2. As Company Site Representative (CSR) on location, to closely interface with Contractor Representative, Asset Representative, and Activity Owner to ensure offshore campaign are deliver safely, timely and within budget.
3. As the Deputy Site Emergency Controller (DSEC) to assist the Site Emergency Controller (SEC), normally the OIM in any emergency on location.
4. To ensure accurate recording of Daily Site Report based on actual manpower used, tools, and equipment in a timely manner, with approval of Execution Engineer (EE) and activity owner.
5. Offshore CSR shall be assigned to manage work barges, work boats and site team and shall report to the Senior Operation Engineer. All project or campaign related matters shall report to assign EE.
6. Main driver in offshore hook-up & maintenance activities and ensuring that they are executed in the most cost-effective manner in line with the business plan and in compliance with company policy and contractual specifications, procedures and meeting quality requirement on workmanship.
7. Coordinate with Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) on compliance to work management at company assets (e.g. permit to work, SSP, SIMOP) and communicate with the Contractor's nominated representative on site on work executions as approved by OIM.
8. Coordinate with company support teams at onshore with regards to resolving issues relating to Top, Marine, inspection, telecoms, technical and material/logistics issues and resolving them wherever possible.
9. Track and control Daily Work Progress activity and resource planning to ensure offshore campaign are delivered on-time within budget. To propose recovery plans as necessary to mitigate project delays. Then, implement the approve plan onsite.
10. Respond to any emergencies that may occur during offshore operation in accordance with the established procedures.
11. To capture all execution issues at site/ Lesson Learnt to be included in Close-Out Report to prevent re occurrence in future.
12. Responsible to ensure all backloads are dispatched from offshore with clear instructions; i.e. Cost-plus items, surplus project materials and scrap materials are consigned accordingly.
13. Responsible to return cost-plus items procured for the specific projects.
14. Responsible to ensure the offshore waste management is in line with the Company and Local Authority requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
1. Candidate with Bachelor Degree in any Engineering field with a minimum five (5) years of working experience in oil and gas offshore hook-up and commissioning (HUC) works in managing work barge or workboat; or;
2. Trained in Major Management Emergency (MME) and Front-Line Barrier Management (FLBM) for CSR will be an added advantage.
Working Experience:
1. Have basic fundamentals with HSSE such as, but not limited to; Permit to Work (PTW) Management & Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) hands-on experience.
2. Familiar with Simultaneous Operation (SIMOPS), Site Specific Procedure (SSP), Operating Integrity (OI) and standards and Hotwork Management and Risk Assessments of welding habitat requirement.
3. Familiar with Marine Operation. Have basic fundamental in managing work barges and work boats and ability to interface closely with marine barge master.
4. Knowledgeable in analyzing job cards in the workpack.

1. Good site leadership management skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
2. Self driven, analytical, good time keeping, proactive and driven mind-set.
3. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
4. Familiar with Isolation Philosophy and Plan

Preferred to be East Malaysian candidate though other region will be considered.
