The Role:
Supporting the Director, Supplier Relations with the certification and homologation for the vehicle components and creating a framework of operations for certification of requirements with suppliers to ensure the legislative certifications are in place and accurately maintained in line with legislative requirements of the target market.

Responsibilities;

* To collect and accurately maintain the certification requirements for the specified components and parts for the target market
* To establish standards and procedures and to communicate and agree and formalise these with Suppliers
* To verify that Quality processes and procedures are in place and ensure that these are followed by Suppliers
* To provide Suppliers with certification requirements for the target market
* To support Suppliers with the certification and homologation process for their components for the target market

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* To have a degree or equivalent in manufacturing or engineering and to have gained proven practical experience within an automotive environment.
* A high level of experience with practical operations

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Passionate to drive continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of the certification process.
* Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills with the ability to influence and quickly forge quality working relationships.
* Resilience and determination to succeed
* A self starter with a 'hands on' approach
* Flexible with the ability to work within a changing environment and to manage changing priorities
