The Role:
The Cambo HSE manager shall be accountable for HSE across the execute phase of the Cambo project and handover to operations. The role will be based in Aberdeen but with frequent and potentially extended visits to Singapore.

The role will be contract based, with initial contract validity to 31/03/2020, which aligns with anticipated project sanction(with a view to extend thereafter based on sanction).

Purpose:
* Implement SPE's Management System for the Cambo Project
* Devise and implement a Project HSE strategy and plan for all project phases
* Ensure the project meets all relevant requirements for HSE as set out in UK legislation.
* Coordinate the safety & environmental aspects of the Notifications, Authorisations, Permits and Consents process to ensure compliance with UK Regulatory requirements.
* Provide HSE support to the Cambo Project through the execution of the project phases from Define through to Operate.
* Communicate HSE issues and information to project team members.
* Interface with Design and Procurement, Fabrication, Transport and Installation and Hook Up Contractors to ensure that all HSE requirements are identified and achieved.
* Provide assurance to the Project Management Team that the HSE requirements of Purchase Orders and Contracts are being met by the Contractors and Suppliers for the Project.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

* Project Management
o Reporting directly to the Project Director on all HSE issues
o Provide HSE input into the gate review process
o Provide a focal point for all HSE related issues to the Project Team
o Attend weekly Project Management Meetings

* HSE Management
o Implement the SPE's HSE Management System across all Project phases
o Devise and execute an HSE Strategy across all Project phases
o Ensure the effective selection and management of site HSE advisors, 3rd Party Safety Assessment consultants
o Provide HSE support on all Verification Scheme issues
o Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Environmental Aspects Register
o Provide HSE support to the Contractor Assessment Review process

* Regulatory Compliance Management
o Identify and ensure compliance with UK legislation relating to HSE issues
o Interface with HSE on all relevant issues relating the Project


Safety Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE by following:
o UKCS Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations
o SPE's Health, Safety, Environmental Policy
o SPE's Integrity Management Policy

The job holder must have proven:
o Good understanding of developing, implementing and auditing HSE Management Systems
o The ability to work in a team environment
o Good presentation, report writing and communication skills
o Good time management skills to meet deadlines
