The Role:
Dimensions:
Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation and maintenance of the Facility's production systems with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, and the Integrated Facility Management System.
Fulfil the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the production system, associate utilities operation and maintenance are identified and procedures are established and implemented.
Manage the human resources available to the production group so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture.
Monitor the planned maintenance system and to report any non- compliances.
In cooperation with other department heads and the OIM, assist in the preparation of budgets and control of expenditure.

Principle Accountabilities:
Be familiar with the Facility's production systems and ensure that the Production staff are properly trained in their safe operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records, which shall be readily retrievable and conform to the Integrated Facility Management Systems and ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept up to date.
Thorough knowledge of the operating safety case and performance standards and ensuring that asset integrity is maintain.
The Production Supervisor is the 'responsible person' for all operations in the production department requiring a work permit. He shall ensure that all safety precautions are taken and that the work is carried out in a safe manner.
Within the production department responsible for ensuring that the Compliance Assurance Management System (CAMS) procedures are implemented.
Together with the OIM and other department heads, shall jointly review compliance with the Integrated Facility Management Systems and update the documents to the current condition.
Write Operational Procedures and Temporary Work Instructions as the need arises to cover new processes and projects.
Communicates closely with the OIM and Maintenance Superintendent to optimize production and maximize uptime.
To ensure that all plant start-ups and shutdowns are performed timely and safely in accordance with established procedures.
To ensure the safe and efficient isolation, de-isolation and reinstatement of all process plant.
To ensure accurate daily reports are prepared and transmitted at the correct time.
Perform individual appraisals of production personnel regularly and ensure that training needs are identified and training requirements fulfilled.
Monitor and support contractor's activities on the process plant and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with the Compliance Assurance Management System (CAMS).
Promote and uphold company policy regarding "Health, Safety and Environment" and "Environmental Protection Policy"

The successful candidate will ideally have:
offshore / oil & gas environment preferably on a FPSO and circa two (2) year experience gained in the full time capacity of Production Supervisor .
Strong personal communication and interpersonal skills; strong commitment to HSE.
Experience with Safety Management System and Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Thorough knowledge and experience of: Central Control Room (CCR) operation, Fire & Gas system, subsea including well testing & hydraulic systems, separation and stabilization systems, gas compression / dehydration system, fiscal metering, chemical injection system.
Certificate IV, Production Operations or equivalent
BOSIET / BOSIET-T
MIST
CA-EBS w/ Shoulder Width Measurement
OGUK medical w/ Fitness to train
