The Role:
Key responsibilities:
* Onsite representative for subsea hardware installation scope on various test sites and drilling rigs. Managing Subsea aspects of vertical tree and completion system. Including management of subcontractors onsite.
* Daily progress reporting and planning of activities and interfacing with wells and onsite teams. Reporting into the Subsea hardware lead
* Preparation of plans and procedures for offshore installation
* Coordination of logistics of tree systems in accordance with quality, safety and marine guidelines
* Witness integration and mobilization activities in the USA.
* Management of teams of specialist vendors
Key requirements:
* A minimum 10 years' experience with testing, installation and operation of subsea equipment from a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) and Multi Service Vessel (MSV).
* Experienced with Marine operations and Dynamic Position (DP) operations and safety guidelines, understanding of geomatics drawings and specifications.
* Detailed technical knowledge is required related to the engineering, design, operation and installation of horizontal and vertical subsea controlled Wellhead trees, tubing head spools, and tubing hangers. Well versed in all associated installation, testing, handling for both open water and in-riser installation tools to the subsea well control systems. In the event of hardware malfunctions, must have the ability to communicate the issue clearly, conduct diagnostic tests to isolate the problem and recommend remedial actions.
* Supervisory experience leading various levels of contractors supplying subsea hardware and installations is required. Project management experience is preferred as duties include specifying, organization, inventory and shipping of project tools and equipment.
* Strong knowledge of Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) tools and operations in support of subsea equipment installation is required.
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, proficient in communications within various terminologies related to the marine operations and Subsea hardware operations, includes directing Simultaneous (SIMOPs) work activities. Written duties include generating installation procedures, daily reports, regulatory well reports as required, third party service ticket review and financial understanding, schedule management and project handovers to final closeout reports.
* Applicant must be able to prepare and conduct formal work floor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and high-level Risk Assessments (RA) with various Company, Rig and subcontractor representatives.
* Must demonstrate strong understanding of Company and subcontractor safety policies and commitment to exhibiting and enforcing Company's HSSE practices and procedures in diplomatic and constructive ways.
