The Role:
Location: Port of Spain
Start Date: August 19th, 2019 or earlier
Duration: 1 year

Position Purpose:
The Logistics, Materials Management and Maintenance function is a critical enabling function which works in partnership with the Operations, Wells and Projects businesses to support the efficient supply chain operations in-country. Logistics, Materials Management and Maintenance function is responsible for developing and executing material master data management, inventory management, warehousing strategies, and contract management, towards delivering sustainable Best in Class value to the business.

The Supply Chain Advisor seeks to use our Asset Management Systems guidelines and other best practices to create a seamless end-to-end integrated supply chain approach. By working collaboratively with Integrated Planning & Scheduling, Contracts & Procurement (CP), Logistics, Maintenance and Engineering functions, the business can avoid deferment of production or delays due to material unavailability, eliminate waste and optimize supply chain costs; while supporting Goal Zero for personal and process safety in the business.

Principal Accountabilities:
* Ensure Supply Chain Strategy supports Goal Zero Aspiration through implementation of robust practices and alignment
* Identify, implement and drive supply chain improvement opportunities across the organization
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive safe, efficient and effective supply chain processes
* Interface with our Centre of Excellence on the end-to-end supply chain process integrity
* Ensure strong connect across the wider CP Organization (e.g. Production, Wells & Exploration, Projects, Operations, Logistics, Materials Management and Maintenance Centre of Excellence) to ensure continuous cross sharing and leverage of best practices
* Drive innovative system improvements

Key Experiences and Qualification:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
* Equivalent work experience considered
* Uncompromising on HSSE, ethics & compliance is a 'must have'
* Proven track record of execution excellence and delivering results
* Continuous improvement and simplification mindset
* Focused on tangible value outcomes for the enterprise, translates strategy to outcomes
* Strong and Proven Interpersonal, Influencing and Stakeholder Management Skills
* Develop and manage the company's Supply Chain Strategy; build and optimize Capacity Plans and identify opportunities for integration and consolidation
* Supply chain (with focus on Materials Management) knowledge/experience
* Supply chain planning experience preferred
