The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a SAP Project manager for a 12 month contract within London

Location: Central London, with some travel to Denmark
Working Hours: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday
Day Rate: TBC
Project: Oil & Gas (transition project)

High level Overview of Project to be Managed
"Lift and shift" SAP and Associated systems / processes from Copenhagen to the Netherlands. Solution to be moved from in house solution at a newly acquired business of the company to a hosted solution at BT Netherlands via the use of a third party yet to be confirmed
No Upgrade or big changes required on the systems during transition therefore it effectively is a hosting move whilst managing a small amount of change as required to permit the business continues to operate.
The issue is that there are lots of Interfaces that also need to be re hooked once they have been taken over as they are also taking over the associated systems
No of users for the SAP system: 450-500
Project Manager Essential Qualities
Proven track of SAP Hosting Move Projects
Project Management methodologies use of tools to support the project
Good knowledge of the technical set up of a SAP installation (infrastructure aspects)
Good communication skills
Experience in directly managing a global and diverse team.
Ability to drive the project forward with a sense of urgency.
Helicopter view of SAP Processes
Management of SAP team 3-4 people plus remote 3rd party team

SCOPE OF SAP related Activities that are part of the Project :
SAP ECC Modules in scope
Material Management. Procurement and stock
Sales and Distribution. Invoices and Shipment activities
Remote Logistics. Supply chain, Shipping, Returns and Material tracking
Plant Maintenance. Corrective and preventive maintenance. Job Pack (keep materials onshore until everything is ready).
Project System. WBS elements for external cost and Networks for time writing. Budgets and forecast on WBS elements and Networks
Financial Accounting. General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Management
Controlling. Cost elements, cost centres, Internal Orders, Activity based costing, Profit centres
Travel Management
Joint Venture Accounting.

Human Resources. Payroll, Master data, Organisational structure
CATS. Time writing (Attendance, Absence, Wage types)
Workflow for release of Wage types and Travel expenses.
3'rd Party SAP certified products
Prometheus GWOS for planning in Plant Maintenance
Work flow for release of Purchase Orders and invoices (xflow from WMD)
Payroll. KMD Nettoloen

Additional SAP products
SAP SMP. Work Manager 6.1 and Inventory Manager 4.3
SAP Solution Manager
SAP PO for handling integrations
SAB Business Objects for reporting
