The Role:
* Development, support and maintenance the HSE management systems, policies and procedures to assure continuing compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
* Development of HSE management systems, policies and procedures with support of the HSE function, to achieve OSHAS 18001 compliance.
* Development and maintenance of electronic HSE Management systems
* Liaise with internal and external customers on HSE concerns.
* Coordinate monthly review and reporting of progress against the annual HSE improvement plans.
* Lead improvement projects in support of Business needs.
* Undertake project work in support of HSE department on topics such as tender inputs, HSE improvement plan development, procedure writing, problem solving, investigation reporting, audit and governance programmes etc.
* Act as in-house council to provide guidance and solutions to internal functions on Business System matters.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* A good influencer, somebody who is able to work effectively with cross functional colleagues and customers to achieve business goals.
* Technically competent and able to use own initiative to provide solutions to problems.
* Systematic, thorough with strong analytical skills
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14000 and OSHAS 18001
* Experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures.
* Lead auditor experience
* Experience leading investigations / problem solving
* Experience of delivering bespoke Training Material
* High level of competence in MS Office products

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Chartered Q or HSE status
* NEBOSH Certificate
* Knowledge of Quality tools and systems eg Six Sigma, Lean, EFQA etc.
* Ability to travel
