The Role:
Ensure timely and accurate quality notification reporting working closely with colleagues to ensure correct code application and information
Coordinate assurance actions as listed in the 'controlled and approved parts database' to effectively control incoming parts
Deal effectively with quality issues along the value chain as they occur and appropriately document the resolution
Liaise closely with Quality Engineers to ensure quality issues are effectively root-caused resolved
Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance and the embedding of improvement actions
Publish a standard suite of reports on quality performance for parts and products and communicate effectively across the business on status, progress and issues relating to quality improvement activity
Identify and track opportunities for quality improvement (product, process and system) by utilising appropriate databases including customer complaints
Liaise with colleagues to ensure appropriate prioritisation and time-scaling of issues, reporting on actions from the quality STECO's and allied resolution meetings
Coordinate the range of quality improvement by establishing and coordinating appropriate cross-functional collaborative teams, reporting clearly and visually on issues and progress
Collaborate with project team members to ensure clear action schedules, closure of tasks and progression of milestones through effective project management
Support root cause identification and confirmed problem resolution by direct involvement in the business process
Utilise appropriate quality tools including lean 6Sigma to ensure appropriate rigour
Support the resolution of customer complaints to ensure all are resolved within the customer time-scale and act as cover to the CCRP coordinator
Support the range of QA activity at Stonehouse including calibration and audit
Work along with Quality management and the Quality team to support initiatives and other departmental requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Science, Manufacturing or Engineering
Lean 6Sigma green belt certification
ISO9001 internal audit certification
Project management certification will be an advantage
Experience of -
Project Management
Working with cross functional teams
Manufacturing environment
