The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Engineer reporting to the Telecoms Project Engineering Manager

The role involves the following duties:-
To carry out Cyber Security Engineering activities within a project team (or working alone) on national & international projects.

To work on national & international Oil & Gas projects using various 3rd Party Telecoms packages integrated with our clients products and Systems as form cyber security risk assessment to Control and Telecoms Systems in accordance to the guidelines described in IEC62443 NIST
Development and setup of security concepts in an AD (Active Directory) environment.
Development of security tools and interfaces.
Configuration and commissioning of firewalls, switches, McAfee AV, security update services, application whitelisting, secure remote access, SIEM and other
security related hardware and software.
Incident response management including potentially participating in 24h on-call duty.
Detect improvement potential in our daily work and provide recommendations for Internal and Customer Cyber Security policies and procedures.

The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Related degree or equivalent
Extensive experience within IT sector.
Expertise in Windows, product related knowledge with security devices, software, networking and virtualization.
Knowledge in relevant security standards including IEC62443
Must be able to travel within UK and overseas.
Experience implementing security within an industrial control system environment and understanding of the differences between security for IT and OT Certified in TISP, CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO27001 or others

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with the following Telecoms systems :
Voice & Data Telephony
Radio Systems (DTRS, NDB, AWOS & ARS)
Security Systems (CCTV, ACS, BIDS/FIDS/PMS & ISS
