The Role:
To work as part of a multi-functional & customer facing logistics team. Ensuring the efficient execution of the goods/mail supply chain processes : receiving , quality checks, sort & timely distribution to meet customer requirements & maintain secure & safe working practices.

Main responsibilities:
To assist in the returns procedure of identified discrepancies in deliveries against purchase orders
Replenishment of stock maintaining auditable records of usage
To provide a comprehensive goods/mail receiving & onward delivery service. Obtaining signatures as & when required
To organize the consolidation of delivered product, integrating distribution of materially managed & non stock purchaes to internal customers, as appropriate
To ensure appropriate files are maintained in respect of internal & supplier delivery notes. Providing audit trail from reciept to final end customer
To assist Team leader to identify & recommend improvements in the internal Logistics operation, integrating handling of all products (inc. mail), optimising resource & increasing customer service
To assist in indentification & to recommend revised materials handling processes within the goods receiving, dispatch & mail functions
Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained & Health & Safety requirements are adhered to
Check & complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing & expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supples

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
GCSE level, including Maths & English
Experience of working on intermediate moving manufacturing processes/flowlines
Experience of working on production specific H & S issues & initiatives
Team working
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
