Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop central coordination team to ensure customer service is at its highest level and to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
* Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that all options are explored to provide best in class supply chain solution through the use of all available Peterson global concepts.
* Achieve complete planning autonomy from the existing clients by assuring the client of our inhouse capabilities utilising the BPTT CT strategy as the base.
* Manage the planning and coordination team to ensure all tasks are performed on time, ensuring all milestones are systematically updated to drive the customer visibility of all activities via our eSystems.
* Lead the development and implemention of procedures, processes, work instructions pertaining to control tower including transport, CCU's, customs, and immigration, to manage all cargo and personnel movements.
* Ensure efficient processes in place to achieve below as a minimum -
1. Freight optimisation:
Control tower is used to optimise freight. It maps out the most efficient route. A truck that would once have delivered five packages could instead deliver seven or eight. This can lead to savings of up to 20%.
2. Process management:
Improve the vessel turnaround time and maximise berth utilisation, minimise equipment usage and manage personal over time.
* Demonstrate statistical control over service providers ensuring service quality is challenged.
* Support the delivery of contractual costs down by smart planning to maximise our and our clients' profitability by minimising resources required ensuring safety is not compromised.
* Spearhead sharing of key performance metrics with internal management to drive operational efficiency by focusing on both highlights and low lights.
* Achieve vessel optimisation, maximise deck utilisation by driving the concept of vessel sharing with greater collaboration between offshore installations via client focal points and between clients to achieve TTMLA model similar to Aberdeen marine logistics alliance (AMLA) model.
* Set quarterly goals, monthly meetings for both Agency and Control Tower and measure results vs goals. Identify performance improvement areas and provide recommendations.
* Your principle focus for Agency department is to ensure the jobs are prioritised based on delivery deadlines and ensure there is a visible plan where foreign ships and local vessels if any are to berth so that their cargo can be either loaded or discharged. A visible plan and trackers for all import, exports and other agency business.
* Oversee arranging the necessary port resources required by ensuring Customs Authorities are liaising with operations/HSE teams to load and unload in a safe and timely manner thereby ensuring client and organisational targets are met with a clear understanding of port rules.
* Develop close working relationships with the Port Authorities, HM Customs and Immigration, vendors specialised in this field.
* At all times ensure safe working practices throughout the operation in compliance with company procedures and HSEQ guidelines.
* Ensure a thorough investigation is completed based on RCA to efficiently close out Incident Reports and CID documents.
* Enhance eLogistics suite data quality and develop mechanisms to capture all KPI's agreed as per the SLA's.
* Be clearly accountable for ensuring that staff are fully trained and competent in the execution of all tasks.
* Fully support a culture of performance management throughout the business where all people are assessed for competence and appraised on a regular basis.
* Ensure the business unit is operating within all legislative parameters and corporate governance procedures, processes and company policy.
* Work collaboratively with HR to ensure that personnel are hired in accordance with the company's recruitment and selection policy.
* Any other duties as directed in support of operations by your Line Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Experience in implementing change
* Considerable experience in Logistics, materials, marine, inventory, quayside, pipeyard, transport experience in a service related role, preferably in the Oil and Gas Supply Chain Industry
* Experience of the local regulatory environment
* Diploma or certificate in relevant field
* Experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)
* Programme Management
* At least 7 years Supervisory or Management experience in Materials & logistics environment.
* Customer relationship management skills
* Demonstrable record of service improvement through innovation
* International freight experience desirable
