The Role:
1. Job function/Scope:

Provide financial information and analysis to the managers of allocated profit centres / companies as required, ensuring information that is prepared is accurate and available on a timely basis. Undertakes project work as and when required.

2. Roles & responsibilities:

Core responsibility:
* Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statement for allocated profit centres
* Monitor performance of the allocated profit centres and identify areas for improvement in the financial performance;
* Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
* Preparation of relevant journals and reconciliations for completion of monthly reporting;
* Manage weekly cash flow
* Maintain fixed asset register
* Prepare audit schedules as appropriate;
* Work with operations managers to provide them with better understanding of financial performance;
* Participate in tender pricing, as required;
* Assist with monthly reforecasts, preparation of annual budgets in association with managers;
* Create and manage project set-up for allocated profit centres;
* Identify and implement improvements into the existing financial processes; and
* Liaise with Shared Services to ensure transactions are being processed accurately and on a timely basis.

Additional potential responsibilities:
* Analyse Client Profitability when requested
* Liaise with Contracts Admin on accurate rates/variation changes pending.
* Completion of VAT returns
* Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Management, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil the request.

4. Qualifications and experience:
* Qualified with CIMA/ACCA or other relevant body
* Computer Literate, proficient in use of Excel and Word
* Experience with an ERP system, such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
