The Role:
The Materials Co-ordinator will be the main focal point for client stakeholders. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized record. Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify and track overdue materials.
Job Location: Point- Fortin
* Receipt and verification of all materials purchased by client's Project Department inclusive of all materials supplied by the MSA contract at both client site and external locations.
* Communicate to all stakeholders on any damaged items.
* Update material trackers with delivery status for items received.
* Bin and tag materials at the designated locations.
* Bag and tag materials, Issue materials to Project representatives.
* Control and ensure materials are preserved as per vendor/supplier specification.
* Store and maintain all sensitive data information, material certification, delivery notes etc.
* Maintain all information for status of materials on a daily basis.
* Collaborate with Projects team and assigned contractor to schedule all deliveries and manage all delays to ensure compliance to all material requests.
* Adherence to client's Receiving/Storage/Preservation/Issue/Returns process
* Reporting and Filing - Provide daily updates for inclusion in the Daily End Of Shift Report, send updated correspondence as and when required, filing of documentation for materials received and issued for the Project.

Experience:
Proven Oil and Gas Industry experience
Minimum five (5) O' Levels CXC/GCE
Five (5) years' experience in a similar role
Significant experience in Forecast Planning, Financial Treatment and Inventory Reporting
Extensive knowledge of SAP Materials Management Module and Supply Chain Management Practices.
Develop and sustain collaborative relationships at all levels with the organisation
Ability to influence at appropriate levels to achieve team objectives.
