Junior Project Engineer

The Role:
The role is broad and varied, giving the opportunity of developing your experience and applying your skills across several areas. Main areas of responsibility are: -
* Building rack assemblies to drawings supplied, and integration and testing of sensors. You should have demonstrable wiring and soldering skills.
* Assembly and integration of MetOcean systems to client requirements, working with other project engineers. This will include creating and implementing test procedures and completion of system documentation.
* Site installation and commissioning of systems, servicing and maintenance of installed systems offshore and onshore as required, including associated planning and report writing. Ad-hoc travel in the UK and internationally, often at short notice, is required.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a qualification in electronics/electrical systems engineering or have completed a relevant apprenticeship, in either case with at least several years relevant experience. A knowledge of communication and software configuration and a familiarity with drawing packages would be distinct advantages. You will already have or be required to undergo offshore survival training.
