The Role:
1. Strategy
a. Build the market segmentation process by identifying all existing and new strategic segments, defining strategy/business plans for each segment, and coordinating the segment teams.
b. Lead the execution of the regional HUB strategy, goals and plans in accordance with the defined guidelines and targets.

2. Business intelligence
a. Identify existing and new strategic segments and business opportunities based on analysis, and globally defining strategy/business plans for each, and coordinating the relevant teams.
b. Develop and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences.
c. Lead the Marketing communication function by issuing newsletters, seminars, customer events, latest updates to operating units.
d. Own and maintain the Segment, Sales and market share database. Use, and other business intelligence tools to create relevant reports for different business needs.
e. Partner and conduct periodical market reviews with the world class front end (WCFE) to align on the key market drivers and adapt to the hub strategy accordingly.

3. Market Analysis
a. Initiate and Lead the definition and implementation of Market analyses. Manage market and competitive intelligence analyses ensuring the design and implementation of specific studies on macro, micro and main segmented / targeted markets.
b. Manage customer's database, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, newsletters and presentations
c. Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis - Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations.
d. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties' researches and implement best practices

4. Competitive Intelligence
a. Lead internally and oversees preparation of competitor analyses ranging from full P&L and main financial data to company profile and sales net analysis
b. Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation.

5. Market Monitoring
Ensure effective market monitoring by developing and maintaining internal marketing tools.

6. Operational Marketing
Liaise with communications, sales and other teams to organize / participate in marketing events in different countries of the region such as: Seminars, Exhibitions, Conferences, Factory visits, New Products launch, and channel partners forums.

7. Reporting
Master the CRM, sales, reporting and financial tools to build the effective dashboard to monitor, and report the sales and business performance in different countries in the assigned territories

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you should have a master's degree in Marketing or any related field from an accredited university with 10+ years of experience in market research and analysis, with 2 years of sales experience would be an advantage. Apart from that prior experience in Energy/Automation/control business experience is preferred along with adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.) Excellent knowledge of BI, CRMs and Reporting is preferred.
