The Role:
Description Main purpose of job

To safely undertake plant operations, maintenance and installation of equipment in accordance with approved documentation, within the boundaries and restrictions of Nuclear/Construction Sites and in direct support of the project.

Key Accountabilities:

-Work safely and in line with written procedures, carrying out your own risk assessment before commencing work
-Check that all plant and equipment to be used is in good order and certified for use
-Dismantle plant, structures and equipment (including contaminated items) used within nuclear facilities using a variety of methods including Plasma, Oxy Propane and cold cutting techniques
-Size reduce, package and transport contaminated waste
-Assist the team to deal with hazards and risks
-Undertake decontamination operations
-Implement safe access systems in radiation/contamination controlled environment
-Contribute to your own development
-Assemble equipment to aid nuclear decommissioning
-Dismantle equipment used in nuclear decommissioning
-Carry out planned maintenance procedures on plant, equipment and buildings used in nuclear decommissioning
-Update all paperwork to reflect status of work at end of each shift

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential requirements:

Ability to start work in Dijon, France within March 2019
Would need to be SC cleared as a minimum
Guarenteed work until September 2019
