The Role:
Our client is seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer to be based in their Sydney office. In this role you will be working with the Mechanical Design team working with Diesel Generator designs.

The position will be on an initial 3 month contract with possibilities of extension.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the functional drawings and engineering drawings of diesel generators supplied to the Oil & Gas and Mining industries.
  • Assist with interpretation of technical specifications.
  • Participate in planning to achieve prescribed objectives.
  • Solve problems by using a combination of standard procedures or modifications of procedures.

Supplying Australia with the world's best power systems, our client is an engine dealer for any business or application; marine propulsion to industrial power, electric power generation, oil and gas drilling and offshore production, new, used and rental engines and generators.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience within a similar Project Mechanical Engineer role
  • Relevant Engineering qualification (essential)
  • Diesel Generator knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
