This is a great opportunity with a significant potential for rapid development as part of a growing and energetic Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) team in Our client Energy Americas. The role is suited to a dynamic and career orientated individual looking to develop both technical and business acumen as a high degree of client interaction is involved. The individual will have the opportunity to work with senior business managers and multinational clients and to progress as a well-rounded engineering consultant within Our client career framework.


The main purpose of the role will be to:

* Provide Asset Management consultancy support to clients, including, but not limited to Audits, Gap Assessments, guidance and development in line with various codes, standards and management systems
* Planning, implementation, management and reporting of maintenance and reliability related activities
* Development and implementation of maintenance management systems for clients; including planned maintenance regimes for implementation in SAP and Maximo.
* Execute Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Modes and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
* Assessment of bad actors and development of reliability improvement strategies
* Assist with the management of the clients Maintenance and Reliability software
* Perform, coordinate and review Root Cause Analysis assessments and other Reliability Engineering related assessments & activities
* Performing Risk Assessments using digital products as well as customized assessments using proprietary methods
* Read, interpret and summarize vendor reports, spreadsheets, P&IDs, integrity data, and other technical documents
* Prepare planned maintenance scopes and procedures, using both preventative and predictive techniques
* Review and improve client asset register structure, perform criticality analysis and maintenance optimisation assessments. Develop, review and update maintenance plans and task lists.
* Assist in the preparation of maintenance and reliability methodologies, method statements & strategy documents
* Mentor and offer support to assistant engineers and other specialists, technicians & inspectors
* Identify and develop (together with Business Development personnel) any opportunities to expand the services provided to clients
* Preparation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports

You will have:

* Shall possess a Mechanical or relevant engineering bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized university. A master's degree in engineering will be advantageous
* P.E or desire to obtain a Professional Engineer designation is preferred
* Shall possess relevant previous working experience in the field of Maintenance and Reliability and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of reliability principles, knowledge and application. Minimum of 5 years of experience working within the downstream oil and gas and petrochemical industry is required
* Experience and knowledge of effective and timely management of budgets and financial processes relating to various M&R projects including budget setting, prioritizing, delegating and monitoring of resource and project activities.
* Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, and Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Projects
* Be adaptable and well organized with a practical minded approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Experience of leading by example in delivering a high level of customer service individually and as part of a team
