The Role:
 Planning of Electrical construction works;
 Inspection, monitoring and ensuring that all electrical related construction (field) activities are in compliance with construction related Republic of Kazakhstan regulations and to all engineering, construction and QA/QC requirements;
 To be aware of all Health and Safety requirements as set out in the Project HSE Policy document and Operating Manual and all updates and revisions of same allocating 20 - 25% of hrs worked to these tasks and to be aware on a proactive level of all and any HSE issues that occur on a day to day bases actively resolving and reporting such events;
 Implement and maintain a Zero Harm environment;
 Perform and review risk assessments and risk evaluations;
 Evaluate suppliers, vendors and service providers;
 Assist with compiling scope of work and schedules for tenders and contracts;
 Source discipline related construction materials, equipment, machinery, etc. required on site;
 Enforce the KPBV construction schedule for the Aktogay project;
 Monitor and record Contractors' progress against project schedule and key milestones;
 Ensure that all Contractors are fully aware of the planned scope of activity on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule;
 Act on any non-conforming works or practices;
 Alert the Construction Manager and/or Area Manager of any delays or potential delays;
 Ensure that all materials, machinery and equipment conform to the specifications and quality standards;
 Evaluate construction against electrical drawings recording and reporting any deviation or change to agreed design;
 To analyze the contractors workforce in terms of skills, suitability to operation and numbers deployed;
 Analyze Contractors' man-hours against budget and report all variations;
 Liaise with Quality management to ensure that the specifications and quality standards are being achieved and adhered to in line with contract conditions;
 The completion and timely submission of construction reports, accurately record all works for this purpose;
 To be aware of all materials brought to approved lay down areas and monitor that storage is managed in line with material types and requirements for construction;
 Ensure that all day working is clearly monitored and supervised in all respects;
 Be aware of all site traffic, and ensure that procedures and traffic management are in place for movement in and around the overall site;
 All other duties and task as required by the Line manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Technical electrical or construction (electrical) engineering degree or diploma.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience on large projects, infrastructure, mining etc.
 Experience of installing large project electrical systems.
 Been involved in large scale mining infrastructure projects, power stations, electrical installation to Oil & Gas etc.
 Familiar with electrical tools & Procedures for safe operation and construction methods & practices.
 Experience in executing electrical related construction works in an environment where temperatures range from -40 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius and in elevated (>3m) locations or positions.
 Experience and training in QA/QC for electrical works.
 Experience with multi-cultural workforces.
 Knowledge of RoK construction related regulations.
 Cost estimation skills for his discipline.
 Good organization skills, quick learner, responsive.
 Oral and written Russian and English language skills. Kazakh is preferable
