The Role:
Providing support to the site based operational and functional teams on environmental management aspects to enable adherence to the global environment standards, legal compliance, risk mitigation, delivery of the functional business plan and improvement projects.

This role is being offered on a 2 year fix term basis, based in the North East of Tasmania.

You will be required to:
- Provide specialist support on environmental management aspects to the operational team/s to support compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental approvals and internal company standard
- Provide input into site-based risk identification and the assessment process, including design control principles and supporting documentation
- Maintain site based plans/procedures/work instructions relevant to the function
- Plan and execute work to meet environmental regulatory commitments and internal requirements
- Plan and execute relevant environmental regulatory and internal reporting requirements
- Identify and implement improvement projects that support compliance with regulatory or internal standard requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Environmental Science or Environmental engineering
- Experience in a similar industry

- 2 - 5 years experience
- Knowledge of the regulatory requirements
