The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Reliability Superintendent UG, you will be involved in the development of maintenance strategies

Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Maintenance Reliability Superintendent UG, you will be involved in the development of maintenance strategies
* Build and develop equipment maintenance strategies for all equipment
* Identify all equipment requiring inspections and repairs based on legislative and statutory requirements
* Create Safety Critical Equipment master data in 1SAP
* Perform detailed analysis of conditioning monitoring data
* Analyse life of plant, equipment and infrastructure
* Develop a maintenance budget based on the preventative and corrective maintenance work strategies
* Determine impact of reliability actions and assess financial, social, environmental and the commercial risk of alternate courses of action
* Perform equipment strategy reviews and failure analysis
* Review / approve 1SAP Master Data change requests
* Ensure that all modifications to physical assets are initiated using engineering requests
* In conjunction with Planners, review and modify maintenance processes
* Assist in the design, planning, estimation, installation and commissioning of new or recommended plant changes to improve reliability
* Coordinate and review reliability designs and recommendations from consultants and manufacturers

About You:
* Have demonstrable experience at a senior management level with mining experience
* Minimum 3 years working in a mining operation with involvement in installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations.
* Minimum of six months must have been working in or about an underground coal mine.
* Requires detailed knowledge of principles and concepts related to operating and maintaining operational equipment and limited knowledge of other functions.
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Communication or Mechatronics Engineering fields
* Equipment reliability performance management (Ampla or similar)
* Statistical and Data analysis
* Condition monitoring
* 1SAP work management or similar
* Advanced Excel, Visual Basic and/or Matlab
