The Role:
To support the design, development and global launch, and beyond, of our clients brand new 4 x 4 accessories range to ensure that our clients accessory offering is at the forefront of the 4x4 off-road market, allowing customers the ability to personalise and customise their vehicle after purchase. Our client is looking for a candidate who Actively seeks to understand current and future needs of the customer, whilst using strategic and creative thinking to deliver high levels of satisfaction as well as achieving operational objectives

Main Responsibilities :
* Responsible for managing the design, creation, launch and continued development of the accessories programme
* Working closely with supplier(s)/partner(s) to define the portfolio and roll out to launch
* To project manage, the end to end product development process including the concept, design, development, testing and evaluation process
* To ensure a full portfolio of Accessory products are available ahead of market launch
* Business case justification in bringing products to market, for launch and beyond
* Analyse data to propose the pricing structure and sales opportunity using competitor benchmarking and primary/secondary data sources
* Develop a clear understanding of the 4x4 aftermarket segment, be able to identify the changing needs of the customer base and recognise the appropriate opportunities for our clients
* Research using market data and primary sources to provide recommendations for new accessory products
* Ongoing monitoring and management of the product positioning and pricing, to maximise volume and revenue in function of product lifecycle, competitors and feedback
* Day to day coordination of product development to ensure adherence to timing plans are maintained, liaising with suppliers, internal teams, engineering and marketing functions

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Qualifications
* University Degree (business/marketing or similar)

Knowledge
* Minimum 4-6 years' experience in product management or automotive based role (experience in accessories related role preferred but not essential)
* Experience in agency/supplier management essential
* Evidence of working with multiple markets/regions outside the UK would be beneficial

Skills
* Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
* Strong office software/computer skills
* Commercial acumen
* Solid analytical skills, able to interpret data into strategic plans
* High level of customer orientation
* Creative thinker and problem solver, with proactive 'can do' attitude
* Ability to anticipate business opportunities and creative innovative solutions
* Experience in working in a fast paced and adaptable environment
* Ability to influence and coach people
* Able to translate day to day requirements into strategic actions
* Some travel will be required
