The Role:
In light of Our Client's growing Automotive business, we are recruiting for an Automotive Brand Manager to support the manufacture, build and delivery of a new, uncompromising 4x4.

We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager who is passionate about uncovering consumer insights and delivering innovative marketing campaigns. Our Client operates under a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded start-up OEM within a substantial organization, with innovation at its core. The successful candidate will be integral to the process of defining a completely new vehicle, establishing a new brand, and then setting both brand and vehicle in the best commercial context.

Job Purpose:

* Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to it
* Audit and reshape current brand assets and marketing content to ensure our output is maximally effective, consistent and on-message
* Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform the strategic positioning of the product to customers, partners and market influencers
* Build brand guidelines to direct communications and marketing content, and provide a blueprint for brand-related work across all teams
* Work closely with the marketing communications team on campaigns to increase brand awareness, and shaping content to use for performance marketing
* Enhancement of the product offer to market, arming sales operation with the knowledge and tools to deliver planned sales
* Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
* Develop long-term lifecycle planning model
* Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
* Coach the team and get the best from everyone
* Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues
* Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
* Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
* Align the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics
* Expectation of regular travel - particularly to Germany where our clients engineering partners are located

Our Client is one of the world's biggest manufacturing companies, and in a new departure, they are now seeking to add world-class Automotive expertise to support the manufacture of a new, uncompromising 4x4 coming to market by the end of 2020. The creation of this new 4x4 will honour the spirit of traditional rugged off-roading, whilst offering a step change in build quality and reliability and meeting the safety and environmental considerations of the present day - a significant challenge, and

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven working experience as a senior brand or product marketing manager within the automotive sector
* Strong project and process management skills
* Demonstrable experience of working cross-functionally as part of an OEM product development programme, with a strong grasp of automotive engineering parameters
* Up-to-date knowledge of automotive legislative and regulatory environment would be highly desirable
* Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
* Creativity, with ability to think outside the box is an essential requirement for the role
* Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
* Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
* Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work across lots of teams as an internal brand manager
* Up-to-date with latest trend
