The Role:
In light of Our Client's growing Automotive business, we are exclusively recruiting for an IT Service Desk Support Engineer to join a growing Automotive business and supporting the manufacture of a new, uncompromising 4x4.

Based in Knightsbridge, Central London and reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will act as the Lead Service Desk Support Engineer responsible for providing front line support across the business.

Your main responsibility will be providing a high quality IT Service to the business, ensuring management and control of the IT environment so business can run as usual.

If you have experience in the following we would love to hear from you;

- Significant IT Desktop support experience
- Helpdesk system development and management - experience defining, planning, implementing and running IT Helpdesk systems as well as creating policies, procedures and workflows to ensure proper use and adherence.
- Management of IT Service incidents
- Technical resolution of IT Service incidents
- IT Service Policy, process definition and enforcement
- Windows 7-10 Operating systems
- PC build including hardware & part replacement
- Microsoft Office 365 application & support (Word, Excel, Outlook...)
- Anti Virus software
- Patch Management
- Telephone / Mobile networks
- Patch Management & software upgrades
- Business application & Software installation
- Supplier selection, development and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors/suppliers.

Our Client is one of the world's biggest manufacturing companies, and in a new departure, they are now seeking to add world-class Automotive expertise to support the manufacture of a new, uncompromising 4x4 coming to market by the end of 2020. The creation of this new 4x4 will honour the spirit of traditional rugged off-roading, whilst offering a step change in build quality and reliability and meeting the safety and environmental considerations of the present day -

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a similar role
- IT Helpdesk Systems
- Window 7-10
- Office 365
- Hardware & Software support
- Computer / PC build experience
- Service Desk Administration & support
- Flexibility to travel between UK & Overseas
