The Role:

Working in the North Sea on a 2 on 3 off rotation on the Mariner development.


We are looking for a candidate for the position of CRO on a FSU (Offshore Installation) in the UK sector of the North Sea, which forms part of an exciting & innovative Oil & Gas project. The Control Room Operator (CRO) is responsible for monitoring and operating all equipment within the Central Control Room (CCR) and carrying out external communications.

The responsibilities in this role typically involve the monitoring and operation of Alarm Systems, Cargo Operations, Ballast Operation, Fiscal Metering Skid, VOC Plant Operation and Power Management. Operating vessel fixed and portable radio equipment including radio log and function test equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have, FPSO/FSU experience, although other candidates may be accepted depending on relevant UK experience and qualifications.

The candidate must be trained and competent in Emergency Response and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge regarding Vessel Stability, Offloading/Loading and Permit to Work systems, Major Accident Hazards, Helideck Procedures and Marine Procedures relevant to Shuttle Tanker Offloading and 500 metre Safety Zone and UK regulations is essential.

BOSIET inc CA-EBS & MIST, Restricted Radio Operator, Artemis Operator, CAA Radio, CAP437. Preferably hold OPITO CRO Emergency Response certification (although not essential) and Kongsberg Systems certification.
