The Role:
One of the job holder's primary objectives is to ensure that all the documents included correspondence issued by the concerned Contractor(s) (and associated Subcontractors/Suppliers/Vendors) are developed and managed in accordance with the Project Document Control specifications.
Responsible for bringing an active support to all concerned members of the Project/Field Operation team in the performance of their document-related duties (review and comment of documents, approval process, etc.), and will be the focal point for all matters related to documentation management and control (included correspondence) from both Contractor(s) and concerned members of the Project/Field Operation team.
Participate in the overall documentation process (suggesting amendments to procedures, to PRODOM, issuing specific reports on his Documentation activities, etc.).
The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his activities.
The job holder shall liaise with the Package Managers, Engineers and Project Control Manager/Project Manager)
The job holder reports hierarchically to the Project Control Manager.
Main activities:
To participate in the implementation of the Documentation Management system at Contractors', setting-up and explaining rules and procedures, with the help of concerned Corporate Departments.
To use PRODOM for day-to-day activities such as: registration and integration of contractor-received documents, registration of transmittal sheets, definition and launch of review work-flows (maintenance of a distribution matrix for this), follow-up and expediting of reviewing process, compilation of commented document, preparation of transmittal sheets out and transmission back to contractor.
To control the conformity of contractor-issued documents with regard to Project specifications and standards, using special tools for automatic control, commenting on the conformity of documents, and rejecting documents as necessary.
To provide support (training, daily assistance, advises) in the use of PRODOM to the work package team for their document-related duties (review and comment of documents, approval process, etc.) and, as a general manner, to provide assistance to the Work package team for all matters related to documentation management activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification : Engineer or equivalent in Documentation management
Professional Experience (number of years) : 10
Experience of Doc Control Management (number of years) : 7/10 years
Oral/written fluency in English Mandatory, Working knowledge of French and/or Russian appreciated
