The Role:
The Advanced Quality Engineer represents the customer voice and ensures the respect of the
standards and procedures within the area of responsibility in the multifunctional Program Team for
new product development or Product and Process Changes.

 Responsible to lead the 8D multifunctional team in case of customer claim (internal or
external) to ensure that investigation for the root causes (for occurrence and non detection)
are done in order to reproduce and validate the failure mode and together with the team
define corrective and preventive action plan in order to eliminate/avoid recurrence 6 months
after the SOP of a new program.
 Participates on Development Teams meetings with the cross-company simultaneous
engineering Process, Workflows steps and activities are covered to safe launch
 Actively participates in the DFMEA and PFMEA meetings concerning new programs
 Responsible for the communication and resubmission of PPAP or customer related
documentation in case of Technical Change initiated by the customer, MPUS or its suppliers.
 Advise on the use of customer specific requirements applicable to the area of responsibility.
 Giving input to Quality trainings and raising awareness for Quality in the organization by
ensuring the right application of Quality Tools and Quality Expertise.
 Preparation of the documentations in accordance with program schedule and customers
milestones for new program development such as: dimensional and material reports, control
plan, MSA studies, PSW or any other specific document required by customers.
 Preparation of the documentation such as, Control Plans, Visual Instructions, Boundary
Samples for new products/new production cells before SOP
 Training Production associates, leaders and Quality Inspectors and Engineers concerning
documentation and important aspects for new products
 Responsible to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the quality performance
 Key user for QDAS software

 Customer Complaints
 Customer Complaint PPM
 Non-Quality Costs
 TTP - Time to Pass (Project Index)

 Internal interfaces to all plant functions
 Customer (engineering & quality)
 Suppliers (engineering & quality)
 Advanced Supplier Quality
 Program Manager/Key account

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 University degree (bachelor or master) in engineering
 English language skills (fluent), German language skills are a plus
Skills
 Quality engineering (APQP procedures, 8D systematic, control plan, capability analysis, MSA,
SPC, FMEA, Poka Yoke, ...)
 ISO/TS 16949 requirements and ISO 9001
 Problem solving techniques (for example PDCA, Six Sigma, RPS, ...)
 Software skills (such as MS office, Q-DAS software, APIS, SAP, ...) are preferred
 Knowledge of customer PPAP procedures and customer specific requirements
Experience
