The Role:
This is a full-time, professional position that will contribute to our Client's sustainable group. This corporation is a specialized unit that leads engagements with clients in the oil, gas, mining, power, and renewable energy sectors. The Financial and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for managing, tracking and drafting financial documents and reports for the two main business lines.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities will include:
Billing Support
* Understand and support billing requirements across the business unit with the support of Analysts
* Track billing payment and provide reports to Operations Manager
* Ensure timely communications and processing, coordinating to resolve invoicing
Pricing Support
* Understand and support invoicing requirements across the business unit
* Process vendor invoices
* Coordinates new supplier set-up in Oracle
Consolidation and Reporting
* Develop and produce monthly revenue and gross profit reports
* Provide cross business unit summaries on active projects
* Consolidate financial projections across the team and drafts reports monthly, highlighting risk areas
* Ensures alignment across business unit financial tracking and corporate financial data
* Tracks and manages licenses and/or subscriptions for it's products
Project Finances
* Exhibits full knowledge of field cash requirements system
* Provides general support on budgeting and financial tracking
Additional duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Grade 9: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree; or 5 years of relevant professional experience and a master's degree
* Experience managing budgets
* Experience with financial reporting
* Understanding of basic accounting, finance, and contracting
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical skills
* Ability to manage time and workload effectively; including planning, organizing, and prioritizing with great attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Powerpoint) with ability to utilize moderately complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.
