The Role:
Are you Field Service Engineer with experience of trouble shooting and repairing freezer equipment? Are you able to commit to visit customers across the UK, Ireland as well as some international travel?

Key areas of responsibility for the role:

- Using your electrical and mechanical skills you will make adjustments, part replacements and servicing to my clients products
- You will conduct service calls in line with established agreements and follow up on the required actions
- Ensure that delays and deviations are kept to a minimum and brought to customer attention quickly
- Manage time and expense reports
- Liaise with project managers relating to service orders as and when required
- It is also vital that you ensure full compliance with the companies safety procedures and policies
- You will also promote my clients services, service agreements and OEM parts whilst ensuring the correct equipment operation

The role is 38 hours a week, however we will need some flexibility in relation to the start and finish time depending on business needs. There is an additional requirement to work a minimum of 26 weekends when the customers require support and in need with the business.

The Company:
Our client are one of the largest engineering businesses in the UK and provide a bespoke solution for two major manufacturing markets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- HND or equivalent apprenticeship in a related technical discipline
- Electrical and mechanical certifications and experience of maintaining factory production equipment
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, mechanical freezer operation, ammonia refrigeration systems and good manufacturing practices

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be a huge advantage
