The Role:
Our client is a recognised world leader in the area of remote handling for hostile environments and in support of continued strong growth seeks to enhance its core team by recruiting an Assembly Engineer join our growing team under the management of the Manufacturing and Assembly Manager and will be engaged in the delivery of consultancy services, equipment design and implementation projects.

The Engineer will work in the area of remote handling operations for the assembly of complex plant.
The appointee will support various projects in the following areas:-
* Analysis of assembly processes for mechanical equipment.
* Derivation of suitable assembly methodologies and tooling requirements.
* Preparation of assembly procedures.
* Advising on plant design modifications to suit efficient assembly.
* Analysis of process logistics and timing
Additionally, the appointee will be expected to contribute to the general activities within the company including business development, marketing, organisation, quality and human resources.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements:-
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the assembly and testing or production of complex equipment.
* Experience in the generation of technical documents for assembly, manufacture and testing of mechanical equipment
* Experience in the use of a CAD package
* Ability to co-operate and work as a part of a team

Salary and Benefits
The salary for each of the above will be commensurate with experience.
You will be eligible to join the company Stakeholder pension scheme to which the company contributes a sum equivalent to 5% of the annual basic salary. Other benefits include 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 after 5 years' service plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays. Three days of the leave are used to allow for a Christmas shutdown. Private annual health checks, professional fees, accident and sickness insurance are also part of the package.
