The Role:
We are currently looking for a Product Designer to assist in the development of a new electric vehicle for an up and coming player.
This opportunity will challenge you, it will excite you, and will take you to the next level of design and engineering of future mobility. If you are looking for an opportunity to collaborate with a global enterprise that works on future mobility technologies, this is the position for you!



Responsibilities:
Generate design concepts of thermal components: coolant hoses, AC lines & brackets, TCU, sensors and HV heater and compressor
Prepare and execute design release in the defined PLM system
Support design FMEA studies
Support GD&T concepts and apply the defined GD&T concept to your design
Develop feasibility designs, while considering available manufacturing processes and support the engineering calculations process for mass, strength and mechanical performance.
Maintain strong familiarity with specific customer CAD data integrity requirements and apply as required
Participate in design reviews
Maintain projects & assignments are completed within scheduled timeframes
Provide alternative design solutions accompanied as requested
Education and Experience:
Associated degree preferred or equivalent 3 years of design experience
5+ years of experience in design of automotive thermal components and systems
Experience in the utilization of Catia V5 or V6
Thorough knowledge of engineering design & Development concepts
Familiar with primary manufacturing methods
