The Role:
Based in the Tokyo offices of this Global Consulting Company, the role of the Account Manager will be responsible for a set of named accounts based in Japan operating within the Technology Sector.
Telecommunications, Mobile Network, Automotive, Industrial Automation industry experience highly desired, ideally in semiconductor industries

Supported by a larger well established team, the Account Manager will be accountable for driving revenue growth across the Technology business, meeting or exceeding expectations. This will include identification of revenue drivers and metrics focused on market expansion and penetration.
By monitoring performance-to-plan throughout the fiscal year and adjusting direction, this will enable the focus of Sales initiatives as needed to effectively penetrate the market

Successful Account Managers posses the ability to develop and manage the sales pipeline effectively -creating and managing their sales pipeline of business opportunities in CRM within the assigned territory; generating leads from face-to-face needs discovery calls with customers as well as following inbound leads from marketing, the technology analyst

Customer Retention is a major focus of the Client, with a customer retention targets minimum 85%. This is done through a variety of communication channels, namely with existing and new prospects via F2F, phone & email 70% of time.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent Japanese and English written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Comfortable being an individual contributor, fast learner and quick performer
10%-15% travel required
