The Role:
Primary duties :
* Assisting with the Plant Manager in the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant.
* Supervising Maintenance personnel in the safe and timely execution of their duties on a day-to-day basis.
* Looking for ways to increase the plant's efficiency.
* Making rounds of plant daily while looking for possible maintenance needs.
* Setting up an example for crews by dressing, grooming, and acting in a professional manner.
* Attending all meeting called by the management.
* Making up and monitoring maintenance programs for the plant.
* Assisting with office staff in maintenance program records and purchasing.
* Setting up and monitoring maintenance request programs.
* Conducting maintenance repair/troubleshooting training on plant equipment as necessary.
* Maintaining coordination of physical inventory in conjunction with purchasing agents.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
* Interfacing with Operation in identifying and verifying deficiencies including directing Operation staff on completion of maintenance tasks.
* Performing any duties in a safe and economical manner, taking reasonably care of the health and safety, avoiding unsafe shortcuts or fail to follow established procedures that might negatively impact on health, safety or the environment.
* Being aware and playing a vital role considering the essential of Environmental Management in accordance with ISO 14001, Quality Management in accordance with ISO 9001, and Safety and Occupational Health in accordance with OHSAS 18001.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification
* Minimum Bachelor degree of engineering in Mechanical , Electrical , Industrial
* Minimum 15 years' experience of maintenance in SPP, IPP of Hydro, Thermal , Cogen. power plant
* Knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance is essential.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Able to plan, develop, implement, and control maintenance plans.
* Good maintenance knowledge of turbine ,hydro mechanical , generators, Scada , DCS ,control and communication system ,GIS, pumps, valves, boilers, instruments and controls, water chemistry, basic electricity and power plant theory. Strong managerial skills.
