The Role:
Account executive for the transport sector within the groups sales team. The role involves a strategic approach to the long-term growth of the transport sector revenue, with a tactical view on delivering in year sales targets.
The candidate should have experience of the rail sector, knows the key organisations involved and can identify a long-term strategy for where the company could drive maximum value to its clients. The role will also be responsible for managing the existing contracts they have within the Rail and Aviation sector, knowledge of the sectors and their culture will be important.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of successfully working in an IT sales environment, selling software products and/or cloud solutions, systems integration and managed services to enterprise organisations.

The role includes:
*Managing existing accounts
*Driving new business opportunities within existing accounts
*Achieving and delivering on the sales target
*Accurate forecasting and record keeping
*Customer facing sales meetings
*Commercial Negotiations
*Support the creation of proposals

The digital systems group is a leading supplier of software development, software support and cloud application support for Enterprise organisations across the UK. We are looking to add to our sales and account management team based in Kensington, London with an experienced account executive to drive our expand

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Areas which are key elements for this role:
*Must have proven experience in achieving sales targets
*Must have proven experience of account management
*5+ years sales experience
*Experience of selling into the Rail or Aviation sector
*Experience in selling complex software solutions
*Understand the customer landscape and contractual models

Experience which is advantageous for this role:
*Experience of selling into Network Rail
*Worked within a custom design (bespoke) software organisation
*Experience of selling cloud managed solutions
*Team player
*Self-reliant

Qualifications
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Must have proven experience of working within a customer facing sales support role.
