The Role:
Background

My client a global software business, provides a full range of solutions across software development, managed services and professional services. They work with a range of customers across the public and private sector. They are a leading supplier of software development, software support and cloud application support for Enterprise and Government organisations across the UK. We are looking to add to our sales and account management team based in London with an experienced New Business Executive to support our expanding Government sector. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Business Unit Director. The role is customer facing and will require travel within the UK.

Role Summary

New business sales executive within team.
The role is to generate sales of the company software development, software support, cloud managed application support into Government customers.
This role requires an individual who has a proven track record of identifying and winning new opportunities within the government sector.

The role is predominantly finding new business within new and existing Customers. There will be an element of Account Management to manage the Customer relationships established through the new business.

Experience of successfully working in an IT sales environment, selling software products and cloud solutions, systems integration or managed service solutions is important.

The role includes:

*New business pipeline generation
*Customer facing sales meetings
*Commercial Negotiations
*Target Account management
*Bid and proposal writing
*Solution pricing and control of all commercial aspects
*Customer management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Areas of experience which are essential for this role:

*Selling into the Government sector:

GCloud
DOS
Other framework tenders
Via partners
Central government departments

*Experienced in selling into the supply chain
*Experienced in selling software, cloud, and managed services
*Must have proven experience in new business generation
*Team player
*Highly Pro-Active and Self-reliant

Experience which is advantageous for this role:

*Experience selling data solution including Content Management Systems
*Experience selling into Digital business leaders
*Worked within a custom design (bespoke) software organisation
*Experience of selling Application Management and Support
*Experience in UKCloud, Amazon Web Services, Azure

Qualifications
*Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
