The Role:
Job Purpose
To provide full-time electrical, control and instrumentation supervisory expertise to one of our client's main vendors on a project build of a BMS & MCC HVAC Control Panel for major oil & gas project.
This role will be UK based with some travel to the vendor in Istanbul, Turkey to provide detailed documentation support, overseeing final assembly and coordinating factory acceptance testing.
This will therefore suit a candidate with the appropriate technical skills with experience of driving projects.
There is also the potential opportunity to be involved with the site hook-up & commissioning scope of the project, in the CIS region

Key duties and responsibilities
* To review, interpret and practically apply project specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated in to the design & build.
* To provide detailed technical support to the vendor in the preparation of critical documentation.
* Monitor and liaise and with both the our client and main vendor in order that documentation and build schedules are agreed and maintained.
* To attend weekly Progress Meeting via conference call with the client and coordinate and lead vendor progress meetings as required.
* To raise and discuss technical queries with the client and then progress to conclusion the agreed resolution plan with the vendor.
* To identify any technical, schedule and commercial risks and concerns to our client Management team with proposed options where possible.
* To work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
* There is also a possibility of extending these duties into the extended hook-up and commissioning scope of works at site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education & Experience
* Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
* Sound knowledge of electrical, control & instrumentation systems with PLCs.
* Experience of projects based on bespoke specifications preferably in the oil and gas industry.
* Knowledge and understanding of ATEX and incorporating requirements into an electrical design (preferable)
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
