The Role:
Contract Administrator, will assist with project management and execution team on behalf of the company with particular emphasis on Contract Management as it relates to the project. Perform contract post-award administration duties, including change order management, contractual compliance, invoice verification, performance evaluation, closeout of agreements, and records retention.

* To assist with execution of projects including:
 Interacts with consultants, contractors and vendors for coordination of contractual items and resolution of issues, and with user department staff on document preparation, policies and procedures.
 Reviews negotiated change orders to track percent of contract price increase and reviews amendments/task authorizations and pay requests for conformance to contract terms and fees.
 Payment applications and Billings
 Contract and client management inclusive of letter writing
 Sub-contractor management - pre-qualification and payment summaries of sub-contractors
 Document control including minutes of Meetings
* Research the terms of the Contracts and develop a checklist of deliverables
* To consistently adhere to all company and department systems and procedures so that operational efficiency and industry accepted quality are achieved.
* Reviews insurance, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds to ensure and verify financial viability and solvency of insurers and sureties.
* Prepare correspondence for signature of others as required to administer contracts

Undergraduate/Degree in related field required

Five-Six years in Contract Administration - preferably in the Construction sector

Technology Proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite

Required hands-on, technical or other types of training to perform the job:

* Interpersonal skills
* Preparing Budgets and other contract documents which would be needed on a daily or monthly basis.
* Organisational skills
The working environment includes, but is not limited to operating in:
* Noise
* To prepare contracts for sub-contractors in accordance with company policy and track variations
* To prepare and submit all necessary documentation and follow up with other departments to ensure that payments to contractors and sub-contractors are made as per sub-contract procedure
* To liaise with the Accounts department for invoicing of work completed or equipment supplied consistent with the terms and conditions laid out in the contract or purchase order.
* To meet regularly with project teams and coordinate as required ensuring successful project execution.
* To assist the projects and engineering department with administrative duties as required.
* To file all project correspondence accordingly in a systematic manner. (Hard copy and on One Drive)
* To efficiently execute any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
* Participate in the development of and perform all duties in accordance with the procedures set forth in ISO 9001: 2000 standards and the Company's Quality manual and OSHA standards.
* Promote safety awareness and the development of a safety culture within the company and especially on site.
* Compliance with client Policies.
