JOB SUMMARY:
To efficiently plan and co-ordinate sales by providing a complete sales service to all potential and existing customers on assigned routes in order to achieve the objectives of the Company's Sales and Distribution system

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
* Visit every existing customer and aggressively seek out potential customers along daily routes and offer full range of products.

* Assuage dissatisfied customers with prompt resolution of any product or service problems that may occur and prepare relevant reports.

* Monitor purchasing patterns of all customers to ensure pre-set targets are being achieved.

* Ensure correct cash collections, proper cheque preparation when prior approval has been obtained for acceptance and prompt collections as per aging analysis.

* Build and maintain trade relationships with customers and ensure that all potential opportunities for sales are fully exploited.

* Participate in the development and implementation of, and perform all duties in accordance with procedures.

* Report to Construction Manager on areas of inadequate product availability, pricing, stock management including rotation, P.O.P support, product visibility including signage. Obtain and provide intelligence feedback on competitive strengths and activities.

* Customer Visit Report form to be filled out.
* Ensure that high ethical standards are maintained in your business transactions and that the Company's image remains consistently high.

* Visit all businesses and promote range of products.

* Rectify any problems promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.

* Visit and chat with customers giving timely advice and enquiring of their needs.

* Constantly review individual Aging Analysis of customers.

* Constantly check on customers in an effort to keep abreast of customer's needs in a manner consistent with Company's Policy.

* Constantly remind customers about the Company's Quality Products.

* Liaise with Manager on inventory and demand and signage opportunities.

* Deal professionally with all customers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Relative Diploma, a Bachelor's degree would be considered an asset
* 3 years Relative Experience
* Must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills.
* Must possess good selling and interpersonal skills;
* Must be honest, diligent, well organized and also be able to manage time and resources efficiently;
* Ability to handle basic accounting functions efficiently;
* Must possess a valid Driver's License
