The Role:

Our client has the vision to become one of the country's largest and most technologically advanced coal mining companies. They are growing organically at a fast rate, quickly becoming one Australia's most important companies to watch.

Your responsibilities:

* Ensuring all crews are following HSEC policies and procedures
* Achieving and driving agreed production targets
* Delivering maintenance schedules in accordance with statutory and site regulations
* Performing statutory and compliance inspections in line with legislation
* A strong focus on minimising wastage and cost saving initiatives
* Facilitating crew/shift communications sessions

About you:

* 5 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining
* NSW 3rd Class (Deputies) Certificate of Competency
* Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
* Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine
* Sound planning, organisation and problem solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to meet production targets
