The Role:

Are you a Sales Manager with experience of selling high value capital equipment? Do you have experience of securing and managing high value accounts to maximise growth potential?

If so then a role working for one of the largest manufacturers of capital equipment could well be worth applying for.

This role can be home based and we welcome applicants from anywhere across the UK or Europe as 50% of your time will be spent in the field selling and delivering our clients products and services. You will also be expected to be able to flexible on visiting their facilities at least twice a month, with their sites being in the north and south of England.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Our client are open to territory and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in either the UK, Europe, Middle East or Africa as long as there is a tangible market to develop there
- You must be flexible on travel and be able to travel across the globe to complete work duties
- Using your understanding of the market you will be a proactive member of the team and help to deliver constant revenue growth in your territory
- You will resolve pricing issues as and when they arise
- You will undertake in weekly sales forecast reviews and reporting when required
- Take ownership of specific customer needs on a key account basis from an orders perspective

The Company:
Our client is a global supplier of capital equipment to various safety critical industries with a turnover into the billions. They are a highly profitable business who are well known for rewarding their sales staff.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Must be from a capital equipment background, either from a manufacturer or through a distributor
- You must have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to analyse information for use in quotations and also contract renewals
- Experience of tangible growth through the development and existing accounts supplemented with new business
- Knowledge of managing accounts with multi-million pound value
- A history of operating at director/C suite level In major blue chip/FSTE100 customers
- You must be a true leader and be able to show tangible examples of where you have inspired and developed colleagues in previous roles
- Need to have the ability to influence individuals in other departments in a positive manner
- Experience of selling directly through a manufacturer or through a distributor
- You must be a fully qualified engineer who would be able to provide technical demonstrations to potential customers
- Knowledge of rotating or capital plant equipment

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- If you have also led high performing teams of sales professionals that would be a huge benefit
